What "private" actually means on RedGifs
Most videos users call "private" are simply age-gated or hidden behind a share link — they're still publicly reachable and SSSRedgifs resolves them. Truly private posts (locked to a specific account or private group) never leave RedGifs' authenticated API, so no downloader can access them.

Can SSSRedgifs download truly private RedGifs?+
No. If a post requires being signed in as a specific user, we can't reach it. We only work with URLs the public RedGifs API can resolve.
Does age-gated / NSFW work?+
Yes — most age-gated posts are still publicly reachable via the share link. Paste and it works.
My link says 'No downloadable file found' — why?+
Post was deleted, truly private, or the URL is malformed. Grab a fresh share link from the post itself.
Do I need to log in anywhere?+
No. SSSRedgifs never asks for a RedGifs account or password.
